RPS Enterprise Fund report

Satoko Doi-Luck + Neil Luck

We are making good progress with our project supported by the RPS, but need to take a little more time to complete it.
We have so far spent some of the funding on software, and have been experimenting with this, applying new techniques to push our interpretation of Baroque keyboard repertoire much further than we have before.

So far, this has resulted in the first track for a new EP, partly recorded at home, and partly realised using vintage and digital synthesiser technology at the world renown EMS Stockholm, where we had a short residency in February this year.

That track (a re-interpretation of material from an opera by Jean-Philippe Rameau ‘Dardanus’) can be heard publicly here:

We plan to finish this project over the next few month and spending the remaining budget on new hardware. We are doing this slightly later than planned, primarily because we were waiting to have access to a chamber organ as part of another  artist residency in Germany.

Many thanks for RPS Enterprise Fund in association with Harriet's Trust for supporting this project.
